Medvetandet (The Consciousness) is a proposal for a wood and light sculpture in the Futurum building in Järna, Sweden. Commissioned by Södertälje Konsthall. The proposal includes 3D renderings of the proposed installation, conceptual and technical descriptions of the installation, and a detailed budget. The 3D renderings were made by architect Ola Keijer, based on drawings I made in Fusion 360.

Proposal for "Solberga's solar-powered outdoor kitchen" in the Solberga residential area in Stockholm. 

The idea of the solar outdoor kitchen is to create opportunities for outdoor enjoyment and a broader food culture, and promote the idea of a renewable energy culture.

The proposal is centred around an induction cooker powered by solar electricity. The induction cooker can be used to cook and fry food, thereby giving the kitchen more opportunities to cook outside than a traditional grill does. 

In the yard where the kitchen is located, there is a box where residents can take out an induction plate and plug it into an electrical outlet. Just like with regular grilling, residents bring their own food, cooking pots, plates and cutlery, etc. from their homes.

The electricity for the induction cooker is supplied by aesthetic thin-film solar cells. The solar cells are installed near the cooker in the yard, making the connection between energy production and energy use visible.

Pixgis is a Mac OS X application for map-centric management of photographs. In short Pixgis is an interactive environment in which photographs may be discovered, viewed and managed through maps. With Pixgis finding photographs from a specific location or of a particular structure is as easy as finding the location or structure on a map. As Pixgis simultaneously displays maps, photographs and spatial metadata it also enables users to analyze photographs in new manners.

This thesis work illustrates the benefits of applications for map-centric management of photographs, exposes the problems one faces when implementing such applications and presents novel solutions to many of these problems. The thesis also elaborates on spatial metadata and methods for acquisition of photographs with embedded spatial metadata.
